It looks like I made it through another one!

It has been a mixed week working for Da Company. I went to three companies this week and I don't care what anyone tells you, three companies represents alot of work! It is not just the travel to/from that beats you up (but that is part of it). It is more of the matter of generating energy to get things done efficiently. It has been awhile since I have done 3 in a week and I have to admit that here at 5 PM on a Friday, I am beat.

But there have definitely been upsides. I got to see my customer with the woman I am somewhat smitten with at the beginning of the week. She wants to come done in two weeks to Miami where I will be spending the weekend. That would be nice.

I also had the opportunity to spend the last three days with Rebecca who is a co-worker with Da Company. I have to admit that she was pretty impressive. She did an awesome job and really sells herself short on ability. Da Company would do well do utilize her more.

Other than that, I have gone through a range of emotions this week. Mostly of things that I would like to do with my life when I grow up (which better be quick I might add).

I gave long thought to the 9/11 issue. Last year, I was in New York City and got hit really hard by the ceremonies and emotions that literally hung in the air. This year, it is more of a gnawing, thinking about the children, wondering if this event can ever be forgotten. And asking would you really want to forget. I feel this "touch point" more so than any other event like this in my life (Kennedy assasinations, Challenger, etc). This scab is going to take a while to heal.

I spent several mornings this week at Starbucks and combined with Jenny's interest of a month ago had me again wanting to start a coffee shop. I know I could do it as well, if not better and would love the lifestyle.

I am still drawn to starting a business consulting company that would handle several areas (growth, organizational behavior, operational efficiency, etc.)

I AM going to start working on my EBAY business in addition to my pool service business.

I also have an idea that I am going to throw by Neil and see what his interest is.

But in the interim, I have other thoughts to contend with, my current job and how that is ultimately going to work out, taking some much needed time off for vacation and then figure out the holiday travel schedule.

I think I am going to take a day off next month just to relax, but I better hurry, they seem to be going fast.

Enough for now. My mind is kind of mush.

Blog on!
